A friend of mine is coming to Adelaide for a visit. Really want to give her a gift to bring home. So, I asked her to give me some old clothing and I would turn them into something useful.
She gave me this red corduroy shirt that she no longer wears and she would like it to be a shopping bag.

Voila!!! I added some floral print of mine to make this shopping bag. She loves it.

hi connie,
my daughter is turning 12 and the girls all go to a steiner school so are comfortable sewing. a year ago i made dolls and felt dresses and they glued and sewed so that could be appropriate for younger children. have a look back on my blog to march last year (i think i linked it off the post about this years party)
thanks for dropping by,
louise
